Villa Mara

"Villan sijainti Janaksen kylässä oli ihanteellinen: lyhyt matka Lissaboniin, Sintraan, Cascaisiin ja Ericeiraan. Huvila oli siisti ja hyvin varusteltu. Piha oli rauhaisa ja erittäin viihtyisä uima-altaineen. Hieman haittasi perinteisen kahvinkeittimen puute, mutta isoimpina miinuksina oli neljännen makuuhuoneen huono sänky (putket notkolla) sekä lämpimän veden riittämättömyys kaikkiin kylpyhuoneisiin. Palvelu sekä villaa varattaessa että paikan päällä oli kiitettävää. Kiitos osuudestanne onnistuneeseen lomaamme ! "

"Very nice villa in a lovely village close to the sea and commodities. Very spacious , perfect for a large family . We enjoyed the beautiful garden and outside sitting area and the kids loved the pool."

"The place is a bit hard to find without a GPS and you need to pay attention you don't pass by the street, but once you get there it's worth it. It's located inside the Sintra National Park which is very nice. A big villa with all the requirements for your stay. The pool was good, but a bit chilly because it's not heated. I guess for the summer this is not needed but when you go in autumn this could prove usefull, specifically when you still want a dip in the pool during the evening. Any problem you have, you can get quickly resolved by contacting the manager. If you stay over go to Sintra and do a hike to all the castles. Thumbs up for this place."

"We spent two weeks at villa Mara in July. The villa was very nice and well equipped. The outdoor area was also lovely. It was fantastic that Janas village was only 5 min walk - great coffee shop, supermarket, restaurant, baker and butcher. The location is ideal both for the nearby beaches, with excellent restaurants, and also for exploring the sights in Sintra. The villa manager was also extremely helpful. "
